Conformis designs their instruments and implants based on the CT scan of each patient. An automated design process renders a 3D mapping of the size and shape of your knee joint. Proprietary software uses that information to design each implant and instrumentation that will match perfectly to the 3D knee model, correcting the data for any underlying arthritic deformity like cysts, bone spurs, or joint flattening.
